Ootd; spring outfits

Hey guys! So as you all know, the weather is getting warmer (at last) and it's starting to become spring. Shops are bringing out their summer clothes so it's hard not to pick up a few cheeky purchaches to make summer feel closer. I've recently noticed that I hardly have any summer clothes that fit me any more,  so I decided to go on another shopping adventure to Westfield. I think we all know what happend next :')

Here are a few outfits I put together, perfect for spring. Enjoy!

Look 1;

Top~ new look
Jeans~ top shop
Socks~ top shop
Hair scrunchie~ forever 21

This look is perfect for spring. A floral floaty cami top matched with jeans, is neither too hot nor to cold.

Look 2;

Top~ new look
Leggings~ new look
Trainers~ Nike, jd sports

Black is perfect all year round, and can be worn casually, eg leggings, or formally too. Paired with a cami, leggings are great for spring, when it's still not too warm.

Look 3;

Top~ new look
Disco pants~ top shop
Kimono~ forever 21
Heels~ new look

This look is a lot more party-ish or formal, but replacing the heels with sandals or trainers can make the outfit a lot more casual if you want it to be.

Hope you enjoyed this post, feel free to comment your opinions on these outfits or what you like to wear in the spring. Also you can become a memeber of this blog by hitting the button on the right :) have a great Easter! Byeee.💞

Party | Outfit and make-up

Hey guys! Last weekend I went to a friends party and I thought I'd share with you what I wore. You might also find this useful for ideas on what you could wear to an upcoming party. Enjoy.

Dress; I wore this beautiful black, long sleeved collared dress from Missguides. I chose to wear this dress because it's not too club-party-ish that some girls my ages wear, but at the same time, not too formal either. I decided not too wear jewelry as I thought the dress was enough on its own. If I wore jewelry with a collar and long sleeves it would look too over the top. Overall this dress came to only £25, which I think is a pretty good price.

Shoes: On my feet I wore a pair of New Look's black wedges. I prefer wedges with this dress because they are easier to walk in and hurt my feet less that stilettos do. They were also £25, which I think are quite cheap for a pair of wedges.

Hair; Ignore the plaits, I took this picture before I sorted out my hair. Just picture me after taking out the plaits with wavy hair. (I'll put some pictures of me at the party at the end so you can see what my hair actually looks like, then you don't have to imagine).

Make up;

On my eyes I wore; Rimmel Scandle Eyes precision micro eyeliner, Rimmel Scandle Eyes retro glam mascara and also Rimmel glam eyes quad eye shadow

Face; Loreal true match foundation and Top shop bronzer in "sandcastle"

On my lips I simply wore; Eos lip balm in "blueberry"

And finally in my nails I wore; MissSporty  quickset nail polish.

Here are a few pictures if me and my friends from the party...

Shopping in London and OOTD

So today I hopped on the train to London. It's a tradition for my gran to take me, my brother and sister to see the Christmas lights and to got shopping with our Christmas money. I was good (although it was hard) and didn't buy anything, but obviously my nine year old sister couldn't possibly come out of Hamleys empty handed.

Of course London's Christmas lights were as amazing as always. They looked even more beautiful when it got darker and the lights shone brighter. It was hard to miss them.

After looking around all the shops, which were full of sales, we made our way to John Lewis, where we had dinner. Mmhm, it was delish. John kewis never fail to serve me something yummy.

Today I has chicken breast, chips and gravy;

Oh and coke :)

This post wouldn't be complete with out an outfit of the day...

I paired my New Look parka with a grey-navy shirt, black leggings, Top Shop frilly socks and Nike Blazers.

And for my make up I just popped on my Maybeline falsies mascara, Benefit oxygen foundation and baby lips lip bam.

Thanks for reading! Hope you all had a fab new year and good luck in 2014. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @isabellerobb9 or to become a member of this blog :)

It's Christmas!

Omg, I'ts frickin' Christmas Eve! Hands up, who's excited? Wow, this year has gone so fast! I can't believe the world ended a year ago... time flies when you're dead. The weather is disappointing though; there should be loads of snow, not wind, damn you British weather.

I absolutely love Christmas time, but then again I've been ready for Christmas ever since December 26th.  Presents slowly starting to appear under the tree, streets lit up with beautiful lights, Christmas songs playing in shops, not forgetting the thoughts of Christmas food. Yum. But I do have to admit Christmas is just an excuse for me to sit on my lazy ass all day eating food, opening presents and sleeping, but it does feel good to know I have 2 whole weeks to eat, sleep and relax without having to worry about school and work. Do you hear that? I t's the sound of NO FRICKIN' SCHOOL TOMORROW!

It's just not the food, presents and sleep I look forward to, it's the movies too! Christmas movies just complete everything. Some of my favourite movies are Christmas ones, like all the Home Alones films. But c'mon, the holidays wouldn’t feel complete until you watch at least one of them! Not forgetting all the traditional ones like Elf, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Polar Express, The Holiday and Fred Claus. Also, TV programs always bring out their Christmas specials and loads of shows start new seasons, like is it just me, or am I the only one excited for the return of Sherlock in January? Oh yeeaah!

I'm not even as exited for Christmas like I used to before. I don't wake up really early on Christmas day screaming and running into my parent's bedroom, but I still get pretty excited about it. I remember when my Christmas list used to be full of toys, but now it's just; Santa please get me a pug this Christmas. I've been a good girl. Or a boyfriend? Okay maybe not then. These days there are 10 year olds with the iPhone 5 and my parents wont even buy me McDonalds.

 SO IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE AND THAT MEANS 1 MORE SLEEP UNTIL CHRISTMAS OK I AM SO EXCITED!! i just opened the last door of my advent calendar (which is so depressing) and i’m tracking santa with norad waiting for the hours to pass and then i can sleep and wake up to christmas day! I hope everybody has an amazing christmas and a well-deserved break. Have fun!

Catching Fire Review

I've been waiting for a whole year to be able to say this, but now I can *yay* Catching Fire is amazing!

So a few weeks ago, me and my best friends decided we would try and get tickets to see Catching Fire the day it came out. We'd been fan girling for months and counting down the days, so on Thursday the 21st November we rushed to the cinema after school, bought tickets got sweets and popcorn and went in.

One word. Wow. Although it the wasn't as good as the book,( but what film is?) it was a truly superb way to spend my Thursday evening. But I do have to say we did fan girl the whole way through it (sorry to the rest of the cinema). I wont give away what happens to those who haven't yet watched it or read it, although I highly recommend you do so.

As most of you know, the film takes place in the 12 district called 'Panem'. It has mostly the same main characters, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and President Snow (a brilliantly malign Donald Sutherland) but we are soon introduced to a few new faces including Finnick (Sam Claflin), Beetee (Jeffrey Wright), and the hilariously outspoken Johanna (Jena Malone).

The sequel to the 2012 mega blockbuster, The Hunger Games, picks up right after Katniss ( and Peeta won the 74th Hunger Games. The two “lovebirds” are on victory tour going from district to district giving speeches.

After Katniss and Peeta’s defiant stance at the end of the games, she’s become a symbol for hope for people in the districts. President Snow (Donald Sutherland) blames Katniss’ victory tour for the uprising occurring in the districts across Panem.
Unable to kill Katniss, President Snow and the new game maker Plutarch (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) decide to make the 75th Annual Hunger Games a “Quarter Quell”, meaning all the tributes for the game will come from a pool of previous Hunger Games victors.
After Katniss is selected, Peeta volunteers and the two head back to the Captiol to train with Haymich (Woody Harrelson) and Effie (Elizabeth Banks) one more time.

The final 45 minutes of Catching Fire are so entertaining, it’s impossible not to like this movie. It’s got a lot of really imaginative action sequences, some good comedy, a few touching moments, and a cliff-hanger (which I'm really angry about) that’s going to make fans want tickets for Mocking jay right now.

I salute you Suzanne Collins.

Autumn Favourites

So it's that time of year again when you start putting away the shorts, flip flops and sunglasses, and start pulling out the woolly jumpers, fluffy socks and hoodies. The Halloween decorations start popping up in shops, the leaves on the trees slowly turn orange and the sun starts to hide away behind the clouds. Fresh faced year sevens crowd the buses and that's when we all know that Autumn has finally begun.

This Autumn there are so many things I love and want to share with you guys! Feel free the comment your Autumn favourites. Enjoy :)

As you all know I am a mahoosive  shopaholic so I couldn't resist including some sneaky fashion faves in this post.

  1. I recently discovered an amazing online clothing site called TeeIsland through Amazon. They do a selection of t shirts, tank tops, sweaters, beanies and backpacks. The clothes they sell are really cool and unique, I could even go as far as describing them as "hipster" but I'm not going to do that.
  2.  Who doesn't love a beanie in weather like this eh? Not only do they look good, they keep you warm in weather like this and not forgetting the fact that they are life savers on bad hair days. I don't know what factor appealed to me the most, but I absolutely love them.
  3. Cold weather like this gives us the chance to bring the woolly jumpers out from hibernation from the backs of our wardrobes. I have grown out of my jumpers from last year, so I'm going to be on the search for some new ones. I recently brought one from One Republic which is really comfy and cute , but that won't stop me from wanting more.
  4.  Frilly socks are finally back in fashion. Praise the Lord! I love frilly socks because they look so cute and go with everything. Top Shop do a fab collection of frilly socks in a wide variety of styles and colours, so I couldn't resist buying three pairs, (there was a deal on guys, 3 for £8 don't judge).

I have to admit I haven't really bought much make up this Autumn, only a few items which really caught my eye.

Eos lip balm, one of my favourite lip balms I've ever had. I got the Strawberry Sorbet which comes in a pretty pink ball. The smell is absolutely amazing and I think I might be addicted to this thing. It doesn't feel sticky on the lips like some lip balms do and they leave my lips smooth for hours. I know they have been out for a few years now, but I only recently got my hands on one. The lip balms come in many other flavours so I am eager to get more.

  1. A few weeks ago my mascara, as they do, ran out, so off I popped to my nearby Boots. There I quickly found what I was looking for; the mascara isle. I always find it hard to chose mascara because you cant really test what they'll be like. Finally I chose
    Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara. I've had it for a few weeks now and have come to the conclusion that it does what is says and that it was a really good buy.
Loads of new songs have come out that I like recently. I don't normally listen to pop music that's on stations like Kiss or Capital, but recently I've found that I actually like a lot of the songs they play. So here are my favourites.

  1. Two words; The Vamps. I could fan girl over these boys all day. Can we all just stop for a minute and admire them. They can sing and they are cute. What else can you want in a boy band? You see my point?
  2. I know everyone has their own opinion on Miley Cyrus, but can we all just forget this for one moment and  think about her song "Wreaking Ball". It is actually a great song if you remove her swinging naked on a ball chained to the ceiling, crying and licking a hammer.
  3. Macklemore has yet again pulled it out of the hat with his new song "Same Love". The lyrics are so truthful and inspirational.
  4. I have listened to One Republic for a few years now, and they haven't really had any songs out for a while, but suddenly. BAM. "Counting Stars" shot out of nowhere and flew straight up the charts. One Republic are a really good band, and I every single song of theirs, so imagine my excitement when that happened.
  5. I don't thing Jason Derulo will ever get old. "Talk Dirty" is such a catchy song, and I will never know how it has stayed in the charts without getting boring like most songs do.

Not forgetting it's Halloween soon, which is my second favourite season (Christmas is first). I'm not really doing anything this year, but that doesn't stop me from giving out sweets and carving pumpkins. If you're going out for Halloween, comment below what you're going as!

Hope you enjoyed this post, comment below if you like any of the things I've said or anything you recommend to me. Follow me on BlogLovin or just follow this blog (on the right) I always follow back :)
